Christmas Eve!

It’s Christmas Eve! The stockings are hung. The cookies are baked. The presents are under the tree. And ‘Christmas Kittens’ are on the television!

  1. Thank you for keeping these posts up to date. I’ve actually spent the last hour reading about your boys recovery during crate rest. News to me…that was a “thing”. My frenchie boys seem to be similar to yours in that they hate crate rest. It’s not fun for any of us but my optimism forces me to try to make it as fun as possible. Maverick is 2 1/2 and Bandit 1 1/2. Maverick is early stages of IVDD and thankfully because he’s my little soulmate I noticed something was up early on. I’m now terrified my wild card rebel Bandit is going to injure himself as he likes to do the opposite of not jumping off things I didn’t see that he had even gotten on. How did you manage the healthy one vs. the one on the mend? My husband has been great help but work schedule wise quite a bit falls on me. Which is fine, he’s working hard but Mav seems mad at me as if I’m punishing him and Bandit has triple energy. Walking one while the other cries leaves me with a hurting heart dedpite the greater good for Mav. 3 days into this as we spent Christmas Eve at the vet and it’s not at all what I imagined it would be when they said to crate rest. I’d say it’s 1,000x harder. Thank you for the great stories about Your babes. They’ve helped me a lot.
